Sometimes you just need to slow things down a bit, and nobody knows that better than snails! The head and body of this snail are worked in one long piece and the antennae are made separately and sewn on.
 
The swirling spiral shell of this snail is a lot of fun to make, but can be a bit tricky to get a hang of. It’s comprised of two pieces made in the round and crocheted together. When in doubt, just take your time!
 
The original snail was made with worsted weight yarn and a size 4.5mm hook and measures: 6” tall x 6” long x 3.5” wide. The pattern includes suggestions on other sizes using different yarn and hooks.
